I'm so happy you found me!
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked with kids of ALL ages, in a variety of settings. My approach is trauma informed, eclectic, caring, creative and fun. I develop relationships with all family members involved; as that connection is the foundation of the therapeutic journey. A safe space is provided to encourage you to discover the unique strengths, personality and communication styles of yourself and/or your children. This information is used to strengthen your relationships and quality of life.
Utilizing research based therapeutic practices, I create an individualized treatment plan for you (and your family). A collaborative effort between myself and parents increases our success in having happier children, better communication and increased awareness. Please read more about my techniques here.
Before starting my private practice, I developed programs for some of the Valley's well-known non-profit organizations . I created and ran a domestic violence shelter; created art therapy programs for homeless youth; developed a school social work program; and expanded a professional women's mentoring program. I provided quality programming that benefitted many Valley residents in need, and gained invaluable experience. I have trained hundreds of volunteers and staff members to therapeutically mentor youth through the creative arts and empathic conversation. I am still involved with the non-profit community via consultation, training and volunteering.
